Starting this Winter, your SunPass account balance will be maintained in a new state-of-the-art computer system. This upgrade is necessary to allow the future introduction of advanced account balance notification services such as text messaging, automated email, automated voice messaging, and real-time internet information.

While over 70 percent of all SunPass customers are on SunPass Easy Pay automatic replenishment and never have to be concerned about their account balance, those that use a SunPass model with an LCD window will be affected by this change. After the upgrade, instead of displaying the account balance, the LCD window will display one of the following two messages: "Toll Paid" or "Toll Not Paid."

As always, your account balance information is quick and easy to obtain via www.SunPass.com, and through our toll-free automated phone system at
1-888-TOLL-FLA (1-888-865-5352). Once the system upgrade is completed, we will inform you of new advanced account balance notification services as they become available via future articles in this publication.
