Check your Customer Service Agreement online How to reach us Subscribe to the online Sun Passages newsletter Sun Passages Archives			Service plazas expand offerings As you may already know, the eight conveniently located service plazas along Florida's Turnpike offer a wide variety of fast food dining options as well as gift shops, ATMs, travel information, attraction tickets and many other amenities. Many plazas have recently added new retail products and food and beverage options: Perfumes are now sold at Canoe Creek and West Palm Beach service plazas. Starbucks® is now open 24 hours a day at the West Palm Beach service plaza. Pizzeria Uno® and Carvel® ice cream are now offered at Canoe Creek service plaza. Recently, service plaza gas stations have expanded their beverage and snack offerings. In 2006, a pilot project at a number of service plaza gas stations evaluated the demand for more snack products for customers on the run. While travelers are encouraged to take a break and enjoy a sit-down dining experience, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise understands that sometimes customers need to gas and go. The pilot program was so successful, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise has expanded the offerings at all service plaza gas stations to include a greater selection of soft drinks, candy and snacks. In the future, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise plans to offer full convenience stores for the traveling public.
