Answering your questions Q: I'm never quite sure where on my windshield to mount my SunPass transponder and sometimes I'm afraid the toll may not be paid if it's in the wrong location. How can I make sure my transponder is mounted correctly?
A: This is a common question for many SunPass customers. Please see the above diagram for proper SunPass transponder mounting instructions and make sure your transponder is at least two inches below the windshield frame. If your vehicle has a solar tint stripe, install the transponder at least two inches below the stripe. Be careful the transponder is positioned so it does not obstruct your view. If you have further questions, you can go on the web to www.SunPass.com. Under the frequently asked questions, you can view a listing of specific vehicles and their mounting locations. You can also call customer service to find out precisely where to mount your SunPass transponder in your vehicle to avoid any problems. |
