Ocoee, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, will hold Alternatives Public Information Meetings for the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) studies for Central Polk Parkway East from U.S. 27 to north of U.S. 17/92 in Polk County (Financial Project Identification Numbers 451419-3, 455878-1 and 455879-1).
The Alternatives Public Information Meetings will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026 (virtually); 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 (in-person), and 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026 (in-person).
Interested people may participate in the meeting in the following ways:
1) Virtually from a computer, tablet, or phone on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 6 p.m. Participants may join the virtual public meeting in listen-only mode by calling 1-850-739-5589 and entering access code 268-392-689# when prompted; or
2) In-Person at:
Lake Eva Event Center, located at 799 Johns Avenue, Haines City, FL 33844, on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Tom Fellows Community Center, located at 207 North Boulevard West, Davenport, FL 33837, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All comments received postmarked by Tuesday, September 8, 2026, will be included in the public meeting records.
