Strategic Investments. Real Solutions.

The state of Florida is one of the fastest growing states in the nation and is projected to grow by 600 people every day over the next 30 years. As the state continues to experience rapid population and tourism growth, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise has put together the biggest Work Program in its history, investing over $10 billion on state transportation projects over the next five years. This investment will focus on critical improvements ensuring Florida’s transportation infrastructure can continue to meet the demands of current and future residents and visitors traveling on the Turnpike System.

The Enterprise is at the forefront of planning for a safer, more efficient, and technologically advanced transportation system for the future. The Enterprise continually seeks opportunities to integrate emerging transportation technologies that can help reduce congestion, create mobility choices, minimize environmental impacts, and improve safety. To support this effort, the agency has accelerated several widening projects and will be delivering them under the Turnpike Widening Infrastructure Initiative. Use the interactive maps below to learn more about this initiative and the benefits provided to the traveling public.
