Project Details

Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise is widening Sawgrass Expressway/State Road (S.R.) 869 from six to 10 lanes from south of Sunrise Boulevard/S.R. 838 to north of Oakland Park Boulevard/S.R. 816 and improving existing interchanges at Sunrise Boulevard/S.R. 838 (MP 1A), Pat Salerno Drive (MP 1B), and Oakland Park Boulevard/S.R. 816 (MP 3) in Broward County.

It is estimated the project will cost $246.9 million and is expected to continue through 2031.
