Did you know that you can now use your E-ZPass on all Florida toll roads and most bridges? Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) now accepts E-ZPass, bringing interoperability to millions of toll highway customers along the East Coast of the United States and as far west to Minnesota.
Travelers have long sought the convenience of using one transponder for toll roads throughout the eastern United States. FTE has been instrumental in leading the efforts to provide interoperability regionally and now nationally for the 35 toll agencies in 19 states that use E-ZPass. By joining the E-ZPass network, E-ZPass customers who come to Florida to enjoy the warm climate can now use their transponder continuously on nearly 900 miles of Florida’s toll roads.
Now that E-ZPass works in Florida, customers should only have one transponder in their vehicle to avoid duplicate toll charges. Choose the one that works best for you!
