Interoperability
National interoperability is an ongoing pursuit of the transportation industry since travelers want the convenience of using one transponder to pay for tolls in multiple states. Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise continues to work toward developing partnerships with other tolling agencies to allow interoperable travel between other states.
TOLL ROADS IN FLORIDA
The following transponders are accepted on most Florida’s toll roads and bridges:
SUNPASS TRANSPONDERS
Both SunPass Mini and SunPass PRO work across Florida, Georgia, Kansas, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Texas. By partnering with E-ZPass, customers using the SunPass PRO can also travel toll roads in: Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and West Virginia.
