SERVICE PLAZAS

There are eight service plazas on Florida’s Turnpike Mainline that are located approximately every 40 miles and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each service plaza offers a variety of dining options, gift shops, an ATM, public telephones, travel information, dog parks, Florida Lottery, and other amenities. Both men’s and women’s restrooms have changing tables, and each plaza has a family restroom. Nighttime armed security is also provided.

Due to limited parking spaces, overnight parking is prohibited, and vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.

WiFi is available at all service plazas.
All Service Plazas have enclosed dog parks with a water source for the pets.
All Plaza Convenience stores with fuel are open 24 hours per day. All stations offer regular gasoline grades, diesel, and E85 ethanol for flex-fuel approved vehicles.
The Florida Department of Transportation, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise is increasing safety for drivers on the Turnpike system by offering the WheelRight system at the Turkey Lake Service Plaza. Our service plazas offer a range of electric vehicle (EV) charging options, with fees that vary according to current energy rates. These rates are typically posted on the mobile Apps used by the various EV providers. Tesla owners have subscription agreements with Tesla to use Tesla Superchargers. Rates for non-Tesla vehicles can be found on the Tesla website.
