The proposed improvements include:
– the widening of Cutler Ridge Boulevard (SW 211th Street) to provide an additional left-turn lane in the eastbound direction. To accommodate the additional lane, the proposed Cutler Ridge Boulevard configuration widens to the south under the Turnpike bridge and will consist of two 12-foot left-turn lanes and one 12-foot left-turn shared through lane in the eastbound direction. The westbound configuration will remain the same.
– the widening of Hainlin Mill Road (SW 216th Street) to provide additional turn lanes and travel lanes. To accommodate additional lanes, the proposed Hainlin Mill Road configuration widens to the south under the Turnpike bridge and will consist of three 12-foot travel lanes and two 12-foot left-turn lanes in the eastbound direction, and with two 11-foot travel lanes and two 10-foot left-turn lanes in the westbound direction.
– the inside widening of the southbound frontage road between Hainlin Mill Road (SW 216th Street) and Cutler Ridge Boulevard (SW 211th Street). To accommodate a new travel lane, the proposed southbound frontage road configuration widens to the east and will consist of three 12-foot travel lanes, with a five-foot sidewalk.
