Widen Florida’s Turnpike Mainline SR 91

Project Details

The project widens a three-mile segment of Florida’s Turnpike Mainline/SR 91 from south of the Golden Glades Toll Plaza to the Miami-Dade / Broward County line. The project will increase the number of travel lanes from six to eight and includes modifications to the NW 199th Street interchange.

Work includes roadway widening, milling and resurfacing, lighting, signing and pavement marking improvements and utility coordination.

PROJECT STATUS

  • This project is currently in Design.
  • Construction is funded in fiscal year 2027
