Polk Parkway/SR 570 Bridge Painting Project in Polk County

Project Details

Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise is repainting seven Polk Parkway/State Road (SR) 570 bridges, in Polk County. The life of these bridges will be prolonged by cleaning/repainting the steel components to prevent corrosion, minor structural repairs, and cleaning/repainting the concrete surfaces to reduce water infiltration.

It is estimated the project will cost $2.5 million and construction is expected to continue through mid-2024.
