Project Details
The project widens a four-mile segment of the Sawgrass Expressway (SR 869) from south of Sunrise Boulevard (CR 838) to north to Oakland Park Boulevard (CR 816).
The widening will increase the number of travel lanes from six (6) to ten (10). Work includes pavement widening, reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, and interchange improvements at Sunrise Boulevard / CR 838 (MP 1A), Pat Salerno Drive (MP 1B) and Oakland Park Boulevard / CR 816 (MP 3).
PROJECT STATUS
- This project is in Design
- Right-of-Way is funded in Fiscal Years 2024 and 2025
- Environmental and Construction are funded in Fiscal Year 2027
