Project Details

This project widens a four-mile segment of Sawgrass Expressway/SR 869 from US 441/SR 7 to east of Turnpike Mainline/SR 91. The widening will increase the number of lanes from four to eight.

 

Work includes pavement widening, reconstruction, milling and resurfacing, bridge improvements/replacements, drainage improvements, and noise walls in qualifying areas. Interchange improvements are proposed at the US 441/SR 7 interchange, Lyons Road interchange, and Turnpike Mainline/SR 91 interchange.

PROJECT STATUS

  • The project is in Design.
  • Construction is currently not funded in the Five Year Work Program.
