Project Details
Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise is widening the Northern Turnpike Mainline/State Road (SR) 91 from four to eight lanes, from Minneola/Hancock Road to north of O’Brien Road (mileposts 279 to 286) in Lake County.
It is estimated the project will cost $233 million and construction is expected to continue through 2028.

Project Benefits
Enhances connectivity with local roads.
Provides a new pedestrian walkway on the reconstructed Scrub Jay Lane Bridge.
Provides better visibility with addition of continuous LED lighting.
Enhance driver safety with new taller guardrails.
Improves traffic flow with pavement resurfacing and new electronic tolling gantries.
Improves safety by installing with new signage, lighting, pavement markers, & drainage.
