Ocoee, Fla. – The Florida Department of Transportation, Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, will
hold a Design Public Hearing for the project Widen Florida’s Turnpike/State Road (S.R.) 91
from north of Glades Road to north of the L-38 Canal in Palm Beach County.
The Design Public Hearing will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 (virtually)
and at 5:30 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2026 (in-person).
If the in-person Public Hearing cannot be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, due to severe weather or unforeseen conditions, it will be held on the alternate date of Monday, July 27, 2026, at the same time and place.
Interested people may participate in the meeting in the following ways:
1) Virtually from a computer, tablet, or phone on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. Participants
attending virtually may join the Design Public Hearing in listen-only mode by calling 1-
877-568-4108 and enter access code 606-130-089 when prompted or
2) In-person by going to the Dr. André Fladell Civic Center, located at 16700 Jog Road,
Delray Beach, Florida 33446, on Thursday, July 16, 2026.
If you wish to participate in the Design Public Hearing, please visit the project website at www.floridasturnpike.com/widenturnpikegladestoL38 to register for the hearing and to select your participation option. Please note that registration works best in the Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox web browsers. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email that includes instructions on how to join the virtual hearing. Information presented at all attendance options will be the same.
People wishing to submit public comments or questions may do so whether attending virtually or at the in-person location. Those who are unable to participate in the Design Public Hearing may submit comments by contacting the project manager using the contact information provided below. All comments received or postmarked on or before Wednesday, July 29, 2026, will be included in the records for the Design Public Hearing.
