Specialty Towing and Roadside Repair (STARR)

The STARR program offers 24/7 service through a Florida Highway Patrol dispatched response by calling *347. STARR service vehicles can be identified by the Florida’s Turnpike authorization sticker on the side of the vehicles.

Charges apply for all services, but the STARR operator will provide a fee sheet prior to providing any service, including:

 

  • Local or long-distance tow services
  • Tire changes
  • Emergency gas
  • Jump starts
  • Simple lockouts
